HOW TO USE THE TUBE TOP
Step 1
Measure and dig the hole for the pier system.
Step 2
Install the footer form or form up footer and install engineering rebar per specs.
Step 3
Measure from the top of the footer to the final grade, cut construction tube 3” below the finish grade, install vertical rebar, and brace the construction tube so it is vertically plumb.
Step 4
Install the Pier Top into the construction tube using three screws.
The top of the Pier Top should be 6” above finish grade.
Step 5
Use tie wire to brace and hold the mold and rebar in place while concrete is poured and cured.
Step 6
Pour concrete into form to the desired height. Place a hold-down or J-bolt into the wet concrete. Vibrate concrete to remove all air bubbles. Let cure for 24 hours.
Step 7
Remove the Pier Top form by carefully using a Zip tool to cut away form and back fill.
